Unfolded paper

This work already existed before I encountered it. Once part of a product’s packaging, it has been completely removed from its original context and given a new presence. Time has left its mark, stains, discoloration, and wear have shaped its surface, turning function into texture. By isolating it, the piece shifts from something disposable to something meditative, where its history quietly informs its new role.
